Hackathon Prep Session
Live Session 3–5 PM2-hour guided run-through of the full hackathon process — understand the format, the tools, and what a winning submission looks like. Before the problem drops.

Key ReleaseOnline hackathon themes drop on 13 July at 7 PM. Choose your theme, identify a real problem within it, and build your solution. You have until 16 July 6 PM to start submitting.

- Theme & Problem Statement — the theme you chose, the problem you're solving, and your approach
- Solution Description — briefly explain your implemented solution, how it addresses the problem, and the approach you followed
- GitHub Repository — full codebase, must be public
- Deployed Link — live working demo of your solution
- Demo Video — 2–3 minute walkthrough of your build

There's no separate hackathon registration. Register for the Intro Session on 10 July — that's where the hackathon officially begins for you.
Online is individual — you build and submit solo. Offline (Hyderabad finale) is team-based. Teams form after results are announced.
After results on 24 July, connect with other shortlisted participants via Discord to form your team. If you're solo, you'll be paired with others on the day of the event.
Five things, all via the Submission Form: (1) Theme & Problem Statement, (2) Solution Description — briefly explaining your implemented solution, how it addresses the problem, and the approach you followed, (3) GitHub Repository link (public), (4) Deployed demo link, (5) 2–3 minute demo video. Yes. If you're shortlisted for the offline hackathon, you need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements to Hyderabad. No travel support is provided by Academy.
No. It's the recommended prep resource and will give you a clear head start, but it's not a gate for participation or shortlisting.
